ALTO TAJO GETAWAY UNDER THE STARS

Two nights with breakfast, dinner and activities included in a rural hotel with views of the Alto Tajo.

We suggest you spend a weekend in a rural hotel in an incredible place managed by Chema and Carmen, a couple who have built their accommodation with their own hands, they are committed to the local product that they grow themselves in a privileged environment.

Get to know "the shepherds' houses" in the Alto Tajo and discover the chozones, a typical construction of the area based on a Sabina where the shepherds sheltered with their livestock. Our guides Gemma and Sandra will show us the different states of conservation of these unique architectural structures, unique in the Iberian Peninsula, their evolution and their connection with livestock farming in the Region. Later we will take a pleasant walk to a unique enclave where we will enjoy a beautiful sunset.

We will return to the esplanade of the chozones where we will be entertained by a Slow Food dinner/picnic with products collected in the garden itself. We will wait for the beauty of the night skies that the Starlight Reserve “Cielos de Guadalajara” offers us to reveal with rain of stars, constellations, anecdotes, planets, satellites, myths and legends by Starlight monitors and you will leave knowing how to locate the North Star among others things.

Arrival on Friday from 3:00 p.m.

Saturday morning: Breakfast included and free time. We will give free options to do in the area.

Saturday afternoon: chozones and stars activity with slow food dinner included with option for vegans. *Dinner: homemade potato omelettes, garden peppers and breaded steak. Bread, wine and fruit. Vegetarian menu: We change the breaded fillets for gazpacho. Vegan: Without tortilla.

Sunday: Departure before 12:00 with breakfast included.
