Geodiversity

The extensive geodiversity is one of the most notable features of this geopark, we have numerous deposits corresponding to a wide range of geological eras, some very young such as the numerous Quaternary tuffs, rocks affected by the Alpine orogeny such as conglomerates, sands, marls and clays; from prolific periods in prehistoric animals such as the Jurassic and much older remains corresponding to the primary era.
