El Sequero de Orea Interpretation Center

This Interpretation Center was built by renovating the building of the old Orea dry farm. A forest house, which had an oven to dry the pine cones and extract the pine nuts that were later used in the forest nurseries for the production of a plant intended for the reforestation of the mountains. Dedicated to ethnography and the traditional uses that the inhabitants of the Alto Tajo have been carrying out throughout time, some of which remain today (logging and hydraulic exploitation, beekeeping, mushroom collection, agriculture, extensive livestock farming, hunting and fishing or nature tourism).
