EXPERIENCE THE RIVER THAT CARRIES US AND GOURMET DINNER

Learn about the job of hooker and enjoy a gourmet dinner with views of the Alto Tajo

Activity interpreted by magical enclaves on the banks of the Tagus where we are going to join a group of hookers to learn all the ins and outs of this ancient craft of river transportation of wood that has recently been declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Between fun dynamics, anecdotes and a pleasant plot we will discover how they organized themselves, how they lived and how hard this old job was, now gone since its shipment in Peralejos to the harvesting of the wood in Aranjuez.

After completing our work and collecting our wages, we will move to Camping La Serradora to enjoy a gourmet meal on the spectacular terrace next to the Tagus.

Duration of the activity: From 2.5 to 3 hours.

Dinner: First to share every 5: Signature Ajoarriero, Burrata with rosemary cherry tomato, points of textured pesto, hazelnut powder and grated Barbate tuna heart.

Seconds to choose from (among all those marked on the menu, also the secret) Selection of homemade desserts. Bread, wine and water. Vegetarian: The burrata without the tuna, the cheese board, kalamata pasta. Vegan: Kalamata pasta and beyond burger. And a selection of desserts to taste.
