by the City Council, houses this incredible <strong>Paleontological Museum<\/strong> which collects a sample of the marine fauna that flooded this area during the Jurassic, 200 million years ago. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Museum, municipally owned, has received the name of the hill where an important part of the various fossil specimens is found (<strong>ammonites, belemnites, bivalves, etc.<\/strong>) from the private collection of some residents of Maranch\u00f3n,<a href=\"https:\/\/museo-paleontologico-maranchon-el-miron.negocio.site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Gerardo Lacasa and Bego\u00f1a Oter<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exhibition is made up of more than <strong>1,300 fossils<\/strong> and is complemented with a generic sample of other geological periods and explanatory panels that explain, in a simple and didactic way, the evolution of life on Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span
